Make Me Clean

Prayer to Return to God and Walk in Strength

God, I am coming back to You today.

I am tired of trying to fight battles in my own strength.

I am tired of running, tired of hiding, tired of falling to the same things that keep breaking me.

I need You.

I need Your forgiveness.

I need Your power.

I need Your presence in my life again.

Jesus, I believe You are the Son of God.

I believe You died for my sins and rose again so I could be made new.

I give You my heart, my mind, my desires, and my weaknesses.

Every place where I have fallen short, I place it in Your hands.

Make me clean.

Make me steady.

Make me strong.

Help me kill my flesh daily and follow You with everything in me.

Fill me with Your Spirit.

Give me the strength to choose what is right, to fight temptation, and to honor the covenant You called me to protect.

Heal my heart, restore my mind, and rebuild my life.

I am Yours, God.

Today, I return.

Lead me.

Guide me.

Strengthen me.

And change me from the inside out.
